Will my phone work with Simp?

Simp works on iPhone and Android phones that support eSIM.

Simp works on iPhone and Android phones that support eSIM. Every iPhone from the XS onwards supports it, and so do most recent Android phones. If you're not sure, check before you buy: it takes ten seconds.

Quick check: dial \*#06# on your phone. If you see a number labelled EID, your phone supports eSIM.

Two more things to know.

• Your phone must be unlocked, so it can take a line from any network. See Does my phone need to be unlocked?
• Simp is for phones. Tablets and smartwatches aren't supported.

Keeping another line too? Most eSIM phones can hold two lines at once, so Simp can sit next to a SIM card or another eSIM. You choose which one does data; see Which eSIM is doing data.

Only want Simp AI? Then your phone doesn't need eSIM at all. Simp AI works on whatever network you're already with, on any phone that runs the Simp app.

The Simp app needs iOS 17 or later on iPhone, or Android 7 or later.

Check before you buy. When you check out, you confirm your phone supports eSIM as part of our terms. That's why we can't refund a plan bought for a phone that turns out not to.
