Most UK SIMs treat going abroad as an extra. The big networks charge a daily fee to roam - even in the EU - and reserve worldwide roaming for their priciest plans. Budget SIMs usually stop at the EU. Simp is built the other way round: every plan includes EU roaming plus unlimited 4G data roaming across more than 130 countries worldwide, with no daily charge, starting at £10 a month.

On a two-week trip outside Europe, a £2-£8 daily fee adds £28-£112 to your bill on most networks. On Simp it's included.
How it works
- In the UK and EU: your main Simp eSIM includes EU roaming automatically - just turn on data roaming before you travel. This includes data, calls and texts to UK numbers.
- Outside Europe: install your free Global Roaming eSIM in the Simp app (Manage → Add Global Roaming eSIM), turn on data roaming, and you'll connect automatically when you land in a supported country. Activation takes a minute or two. This includes data only.
- Speeds: you get a 5G speed (10-250Mbps) data allowance (3GB on Standard, 5GB on Premium) and then unlimited data at 4G speeds (0.5Mbps-2Mbps) for the rest of the month. You can increase your 5G speed data allowance at any point with a paid top-up.

Fair use
Roaming is for normal personal use while you travel, not a permanent overseas line. EU roaming is subject to your plan's data allowance; global roaming continues at 4G speed after your 5G speed allowance is used up. You can roam up to 15 days in Europe in a given month, and you can use up to 10GB of 4G data globally per month. We may suspend your service if you go beyond these limits. - No. EU and worldwide data roaming are included in every Simp plan with no daily fee, while most UK networks charge £2 to £8 a day to roam or reserve worldwide roaming for premium plans.
- Which countries can I use Simp roaming in?
- The EU and selected destinations plus over 130 countries worldwide, including the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, India, China, the UAE and more. The full list is at simpmobile.com/coverage and in the terms.
- Do I need to do anything before I travel?
- For Europe, just turn on data roaming. For countries outside Europe, install your free Global Roaming eSIM in the Simp app first, then turn on data roaming.
- Is the data really unlimited abroad?
- You get a 5G data allowance (3GB on Standard, 5GB on Premium) and then unlimited data at 4G speeds in supported countries, for normal personal use. We may slow down your speed further once you reach 10GB of 4G usage in a given month.
- What if I want more 5G speed data?
- You can top up your 5G data allowance at any time with a paid top-up. We offer 3GB, 5GB and 10GB top-ups.
