A second number, and a simp to make your calls.
A real mobile number of your own that your simp answers and calls from.
It works alongside the number you already have, so there is no need to switch provider or change anything about your current plan.
AI numberAI calls for you, separate numberPoppy, Alfie, Bev or Gareth ring people on your behalf, and answer it when it rings. Give it to apps, deliveries and anyone who doesn't need your real line.
What people use their AI number for.
Six calls a simp actually made, to real businesses, on a real AI number. Nothing staged and no word changed - you are hearing exactly what was said, with the hold music trimmed on the queue call.
- Got the bill downAlfie0:52
Rang the energy supplier, worked the rate, came back with a fixed price and asked for it in writing.
Real call, unedited - Booked the tablePoppy0:29
Eight was gone, so the quarter past was taken and the one by the window came with it.

Two departments and a reference number later, a delivery date that someone had actually written down.
Real call, unedited - Screened the spamGareth0:18
Asked who was calling and what it was about. They rang off on their own, which is usually the answer.
Real call, unedited - Sat in the queuePoppy4:46
Hold music that nobody had to listen to, then a human, and Alex took over.
Real call, hold trimmed - Took a messageAlfie0:18
Answered the number, took the name, the reason and the callback, and wrote it down properly.
Real call, unedited
Who makes your calls.
Four simps to choose from. Pick who rings people on your behalf, and who answers your AI number when it rings. Change your mind per call.
PoppyBritish female | late 20sBright, quick and upbeat.Talks fast, books faster. Has never said "I'll get back to you". Thinks two rings is a long time.
AlfieBritish male | late 20sWarm, easygoing and friendly.Calls everyone mate, and somehow it works. Very hard to say no to.
BevBritish female | in her 30sCalm, warm and firmPolite, patient and impossible to fob off. Bears no grudges, keeps a list.
GarethBritish male | In his 30sMeasured, calm and courteousAsks about the small print so you don't have to. Unfazed by hold music and "not my department".
How many numbers you get.
One AI number on every plan. Extra numbers are an add-on you can buy from your account.
Minutes are shared across all of them, and every minute is logged against the number that spent it.
Numbers are issued to you. You cannot choose the digits or the area code.
What each plan includesWhether your calls get recorded.
Three different things, answered separately. Your calls, listening in, and the calls you can play on this site are not the same, so they do not get the same sentence.
- Your callsNot recorded.
Your simp's calls on your AI number are not recorded. What you get afterwards is a transcript and a summary of what was said and agreed.
- Listening inLive, not saved.
You can listen while a call is happening. That is streamed to you as it goes, and there is nothing left over once the call ends.
- The calls on this siteRecorded, word for word.
The calls you can play here were recorded with everyone's agreement so we could show you them. They are real calls with every word as it was said; on the queue call only the hold music was trimmed. Each one is labelled as such.
What your AI number will not do.
- It cannot be your main line
Your AI number is not a replacement for the number people ring you on. It is a second number that does a different job.
- You cannot pick the digits
Numbers are issued to you when you sign up. There is no chooser, no area code to select, and no way to reserve one in advance.
- It will not call from your real number
Every call your simp makes goes out on a Simp number. It cannot place a call from the line you already have, on any plan.
- It never calls without your say-so
A call is set up and then waits for you. Nothing is dialled, and nothing sensitive is said, until you have said yes to it, now or as your say-so given in advance, as rules you set for your AI apps, on a plan with autonomous mode.
Questions about your AI number.
Is it a real number?
Yes. It is a real mobile number that can be rung, texted and saved to a contact card like any other. It is not an extension, an app handle or a forwarding service.
What happens to my own number?
Nothing. It rings you directly, with no AI in the middle, ever. On a plan with an eSIM it can be ours as well; where Simp is not a network, it stays with whoever you are with today.
Can I give it out instead of my own?
That is what it is for. Apps, deliveries, sign-up forms and anyone you would rather not hand your real line to. Your simp calls them back and answers when they ring, and you get told what happened.
Can I move my AI number to another provider?
No. Your AI number lives with Simp, so it can't be moved to another provider, and you can't bring an old number in as your AI one.
What if I want more than one?
Every plan comes with one. Further numbers are an add-on you can buy from your account.
An AI number and a simp on it, alongside whoever you are with today. Nothing to port and nothing to install.
