What your simp is allowed to do

Whatever you've set up and said yes to, and nothing else.

It never calls without your say-so, given call by call or in advance as rules you set for your AI apps on a plan with autonomous mode. It never says anything sensitive without your go-ahead, and never pretends to be you.

The rules

Three rules. Every call follows them.

Does it once you’ve approved the call
  • Rings the number you approved
  • Waits on hold for up to 6 minutes and gets through phone menus
  • Works towards the goal you set
  • Shares the facts you marked "allowed to share"
  • Answers calls to your AI number and takes messages
  • Writes you a transcript and a summary afterwards
Asks you first
  • Starting any callUnless your say-so was given in advance, as rules you set for your AI apps, on a plan with autonomous mode.
  • Anything you marked "ask me first"Such as your date of birth or card details.
  • Agreeing to anything that commits youA payment, a new price, a contract.
  • A repeating callYou approve it once when you set it up. Stop the series whenever you like.
Never
  • Calls without your say-so
  • Gives out passwords, PINs or security answers
  • Shares anything you marked "never"Such as your home address or passport number.
  • Makes up a fact it hasn’t been givenIt says it doesn’t have it.
  • Claims to be you
  • Calls from your own numberEvery call goes out on a Simp number.
  • Denies being an AI when it’s asked
Who

Who can set up a call. Who can start one.

Sets up and startsYou, in the Simp appSay who to ring and what you want, now, later or on repeat.
Sets up onlyThe AI app you already useChatGPT, Claude, Muse and others can fill in a call and hand it to Simp. It cannot place the call; only you can. Afterwards it's told the outcome, never your number or who you are.

Step in live. Or answer later.

You never have to sit through a call to stay in control. Jump in while it's happening, or let your simp get on with it and reply whenever suits you.

Live take-overListen in, then take the call.Hear the call as it happens. If you'd rather say it yourself, take over and your simp steps back. Or end the call whenever you like.

Answer when it suits youTell it what it needs, whenever. When your simp reaches something only you can answer, it asks you in the app. You don't have to be free right then. Reply when you can, and it picks the conversation back up later.

Afterwards

What it keeps.

Afterwards you get a transcript and a summary of what was said and agreed. It doesn’t keep listening once the call ends, and your transcript and notes stay in your app for 30 days. A copy with your details taken out is kept for up to 12 months to improve Simp only while you have Help improve Simp turned on in the app, and it starts off.

Are calls recorded?Your calls, listening in live, and the demos on this site each have their own answer.Whether calls are recorded
Mistakes

If it gets something wrong.

You can read the exact words it used in the transcript, so there’s never a question about what was said.

ThenAsk it to call again.Tell your simp what to do differently and send it back. There’s no form to fill in and nobody to chase: the transcript shows what went wrong, and clearer instructions are how you fix it.
In practice

Inside these rules, here’s what it handles.

Questions about what your simp is allowed to do.

Can it ring lots of numbers or make sales calls?

No. It only rings numbers you approve. It can’t work through a list, can’t dial in bulk and can’t make marketing calls, so spamming is impossible.

Is AI calling legal?
Can it pay for things?

Only on a call you approved, and only if you’ve allowed it to use your card details.

Can it sign me up to something?

Not without your yes. Anything that commits you comes back to you first.

How long will it wait on hold?

Your simp waits on hold for up to 6 minutes, then lets you know so you can take over. Any call your simp is handling ends after 10 minutes. Hand-over isn't automatic: you tap Take over in the Simp app.

Can I change what it’s allowed to share?

Yes, any time in the app, fact by fact.

Can it call 911?

No. Your simp and your AI number can’t call 911. In an emergency, call 911 from your phone’s own line, straight away.

Does it remember earlier calls?

It works from the instructions and details you give it, and it can carry context from earlier calls so you don’t have to repeat yourself.

Your rules. Your simp.

Every plan comes with an AI number, and a simp that only does what you say yes to.
