How to book a group activity

Pick two or three dates, check the minimum age and the largest group size, ask about group prices, and get the booking confirmed by email or text. Or set your simp to call and book a slot inside your times, and it asks you before paying for anything.

What you can do yourself.

Bowling, an escape room, go-karting, climbing or a class: these work for most group bookings.

  1. Step 1Pick two or three dates

    Group slots go quickly at weekends. A second choice saves a second call.

  2. Step 2Check ages and group size

    Many activities have a minimum age, a height limit or a largest group, and some split big groups into teams.

  3. Step 3Ask about group prices

    Ask whether there's a group or family price, and what it includes.

  4. Step 4Mention anyone with needs

    Step-free access, someone who'll watch rather than take part, or a child who needs to stay with an adult.

  5. Step 5Ask what to bring

    Ask what time to arrive, what to wear and whether anything needs signing on the day.

  6. Step 6Get it confirmed

    Ask for the booking by email or text, and send it to the group.

The catch: weekend group slots go first, and agreeing a time with everyone, then getting through, then checking the ages and prices takes longer than the booking.

How a simp does it.

Alex wanted bowling for ten on Sunday afternoon, four of them children. Gord called, took two lanes side by side inside Alex's times, and asked for the bumpers.

Tell your simp what you'd like to do, how many are coming, any ages or needs, and the times that suit. It never calls without your say-so, and your simp only calls between 9am and 9:30pm on weekdays, and between 10am and 6pm on weekends, in the time zone of the person or business it's calling. Calls to a toll-free number follow these hours in your own time zone. It books inside your times and sends you the details.

Your simp doesn't book outside the times you gave it. Its summary tells you the times they offered, so you can choose.

Yes. The whole call counts towards your monthly AI minutes, time on hold included. Your simp waits on hold for up to 6 minutes, then lets you know so you can take over. You can top up in the app if you run low.
