What does a simp do, and what does it ask you first?
Once you have approved a call, a simp: rings the number you approved; waits on hold for up to 6 minutes and gets through phone menus; works towards the goal you set; shares the facts you marked "allowed to share"; answers calls to your AI number and takes messages; writes you a transcript and a summary afterwards. Does a simp say it is an AI?
At the start of every call it makes, a simp says that it is an AI calling for you, and that the call is transcribed. If anyone asks whether they are talking to an AI, it says yes. Is AI calling legal?
The person called does not have to talk to an AI. If they would rather not, a simp ends the call politely and tells you in the call summary. Is AI calling legal?
Calls are not recorded as audio. They are transcribed as they happen, and you can see each call's transcript and summary in the app for 30 days. Is AI calling legal?
Can an AI app ask for a call?
Yes. You can ask for a call from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Zapier, Siri and Muse. Muse is available in the US and Canada for now. AI apps
